Terms of Service

Last updated: 26 May 2026

These Terms govern your use of the LearnStack platform ("Service") operated by LearnStack Limited, a company registered in Nigeria. By creating an account or by accessing the Service on behalf of a school, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance

You may only accept these Terms if you have the authority to bind the school or organisation you are signing up. Individual students must be at least 13 years old to self-register; students under 13 may only be enrolled by a school administrator.

2. Service description

LearnStack provides:

  • A tenant workspace per school, with admin, teacher, student, and parent roles.
  • Curriculum alignment, lesson note review, smartboard slide generation, assignments, quizzes, and exam-preparation modules for JAMB, WAEC, and BECE.
  • Analytics on teaching quality and student readiness within each tenant.

We may add, remove, or change features over time. Material changes are announced in advance to school administrators.

3. Subscription & billing

Subscriptions are billed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) via Paystack. Plans run per term unless explicitly stated otherwise. The current price, plan limits, and onboarding package are shown at checkout and become part of the agreement once payment is confirmed.

Renewals are charged automatically at the start of each term using the payment method on file. A school admin may cancel renewal at any time from the billing settings. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not refund the current term, except where required by Nigerian consumer-protection law.

Refunds for one-time onboarding packages are pro-rated against deliverables already completed at the time of cancellation.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or sexually explicit material.
  • Use the Service to harvest data on minors beyond what is necessary to teach or supervise them.
  • Attempt to bypass tenant isolation, access another school's data, or interfere with the Service's security mechanisms.
  • Resell, sublicense, or expose LearnStack functionality through your own product without a written reseller agreement.

5. Intellectual property

LearnStack, its logos, designs, source code, and documentation remain our property. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for the duration of your subscription.

6. Data ownership

Schools own the content they upload. Lesson notes, curricula, student work, and analytics generated within a tenant belong to that school. We process them as the school's data processor under NDPR.

Schools may export their data at any time during the subscription and for 90 days after cancellation. After that window, tenant data is permanently deleted.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at the end of the current term. We may suspend or terminate an account immediately for unpaid invoices, breach of these Terms, or activity that puts other users at risk.

8. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by Nigerian law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount the school paid LearnStack in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost teaching time, lost data that was not retained according to clause 6, or lost student outcomes.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes that cannot be resolved by good-faith negotiation will be referred to the courts of Lagos State.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be sent to the admin email on file and posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after the change takes effect counts as acceptance.
